Professor Vogue

As a leading instructional designer, Saeyoung develops and manages learning and development content and programs in TrojanLearn, USC HR LMS system.

 

She is an experienced educator and instructional designer who has ten years of experience in higher education creating distance and digital learning programs for LIM College, Woodbury University, and Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). Saeyoung holds a master’s degree in instructional design and technology from California State University, Fullerton, where she focused her research on creating effective online and hybrid learning programs.

 

Prior to her career in education, Saeyoung was an established fashion designer and received extensive media recognition. With a bachelor of fine arts degree in textile and photography from the University of Michigan and a fashion design degree from FIDM, Saeyoung founded an internationally recognized apparel brand with multiple retail and production locations in the U.S.

 

Saeyoung is an advisory board member for Arts Technology Academy at Gahr High School in Cerritos, CA. Since becoming a member she has hosted numerous workshops for high school students and helped to create scholarship programs. Saeyoung is also the director of digital media and special events for the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra, a certified yoga instructor, and an aspiring surfer! Born in Seoul Korea and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she is grateful for her diverse cultural background and experiences that shaped who she is today.
